Wertheimer Designs has been involved in sculpting and conceptual design for over thirty years, with works published in Architectural Digest, Palm Springs Life, Designers West, Design International, Designers Magazine and Home Magazine.

Sculpted a life-size Bighorn Sheep for the Bighorn Institute, Palm Desert, California, which was the original for their Path of the Bighorn project.

Designed and carved two 5' by 11' Native American-themed panels depicting the hunting seasons for the Potawatomi Casino in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Designed and incorporated into the landscape, two 100' long by 60' tall Native American heads (the Resort's logo) for The Golf Resort at Indian Wells, Indian Wells, California.

Designed and carved major architectual elements themed on the ancient Cambodian temples at Ankor Wat, for the Mandalay Bay Shark Reef Aquarium in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Worked with Rock & Waterscape Systems of Irvine, California, on numerous pieces for the largest marine habitat in the world, as well as exterior pieces for the Mayan Temple water slide at Atlantis, Paradise Island, Bahamas.

Designed and carved twenty bas relief panels of jazz and blues musicians for the House of Blues in Michigan. Some of the musicians carved for this project include Bonnie Raitt, B.B. King, Stevie Ray Vaughn and Eric Clapton.
1995-1996
Researched, designed and carved an 8' tall by 440' long bas relief honoring the heroes of World War II's Pacific and European air battles for the Palm Springs Air Museum, Palm Springs, California.
1993
Created the exterior terrace design which included a fresco and sculptural designs for the Penthouse Suites at Caesars Palace Hotel, Las Vegas, Nevada.
1991
Participated in the design of the Palace of the Lost City Hotel, Sun City, South Africa, which is the largest hand-carved building of its kind in the world. The carvings and casts necessary for the project were completed over a 14 month period. 18 African animals, life-size and large, were carved as well as hundreds of architectural details on the walls ceilings and columns for interior and exterior portions of the project.
